  Always a great place to study or catch up with friends. The shop is always clean, despite the intermittent rushes. And unlike most yogurt shops, the seating doesn't feel sterile. The tables and couches make the atmosphere warm and comfortable. Cultured is also the only place in Flagstaff where I will eat froyo. They have dairy free options and all of their yogurt flavors don't taste as though they've been mixed with a Wonka pixie stick. The only reason they fall short of 5 stars is the staff. Although I am always treated with respect and greeted kindly, most of the persons with whom I've interacted will not speak up. I cannot tune out ambient noise (loud music, several simultaneous conversations, the machines humming), so every time I go to pay, I can't hear the person behind the counter. Even after I ask them to speak up, they won't project or enunciate. At best, they say the beginning of the sentence louder, then taper back to a softer volume. I usually end up lip reading as best as I can, but it is a frustration I can do without. Still, Cultured is one of my favorite places to relax and get things done. Highly recommended.
